Villas Las Palmas

Alvaro was warm and welcoming, made sure we were settled, and was quick to respond by text if we had questions or needed anything. We stayed upstairs at Villa Las Palmas for three nights during winter break while visiting La Fortuna, and parked in the property's two-car garage. We also used the washer and dryer free of charge on our last evening. The apartment felt roomy and comfortable. It had a king bed in the bedroom, two comfortable sofa beds in the living room, two bathrooms with showers and toilets, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Large curtained windows brought in plenty of light, and there was a cute porch with seats where we enjoyed early morning coffee. Getting to downtown restaurants and nearby sights was easy, with Mistico Park, Arenal Volcano, the lake, and hot springs all within about a 15-minute drive. We had a very comfortable stay and would recommend it.

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and even let us do a load of laundry. We really appreciated that after several days of hiking in sweaty clothes. The apartment had a master bedroom with its own bathroom, plus a second bathroom, living room, and kitchen. After eating at restaurants for several days, it was nice to cook a couple of our own meals.

A lovely apartment and nice people. It was a really good place to stay.

Cozy, with a stylish feel.
