The view is spectacular, and breakfast was excellent. It’s very close to both the waterfall and town, with plenty of tours and places to visit nearby. A perfect location.

The room smelled musty and like urine, was very hot, and had no window we could open. When we asked to cancel, they said we’d still have to pay for the night. We paid the cancellation fee and went to stay somewhere else. On arrival, the staff weren’t very friendly and didn’t seem glad to see us, which was a first for us, especially in Costa Rica. Save the cancellation money and just don’t stay here.

A nice, friendly bed and breakfast with a pleasant garden. It’s set a little off the road and somewhat far from the city center, but it was very quiet. The room was simple, with few power supplies, and the price felt fair.

We slept so well here, probably some of the best sleep I’ve had. Tio Felix was peaceful and beautiful, with very accommodating lodging. It’s only a short drive to La Fortuna falls and the city center.

A cozy, welcoming little farm, very clean too. The view of Arenal is incredible when the clouds clear.
