Canon de La Vieja Lodge

The canyon tubing and zipline were a real thrill, and ending the day with a swim in the hot springs was a perfect way to unwind. Our day at Canyon de la Vieja also included horseback riding and tubing down the Colorado River. Alex and his friend were friendly, hardworking guides who kept things safe and fun. They helped whenever we got stuck tubing, made sure we mounted and got off the horses safely, and kept the ziplining running smoothly. At one point, a European tourist and her son lost both their phones in the river when their waterproof case snapped off. Alex spent a long time searching until he found them. Everyone was so happy when he brought the phones back. It showed how much he cared. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip, and I'd highly recommend it.

Is that Indiana Jones? Pretty similar to the A team. Make us look like idiots, donnie. Spicy food, I don't even know. Dude, did you guys try the spicy marg? Not many notes, really. My only note was that the chicken sandwich was too spicy. Woz, I'm crashing. It's spice with good flavor. It's poetry, it's great. You like stevia? Steve-yah. Stevia wonder. Hah ha.

The rooms and bed are much too small, and the walls are paper thin. At checkout, reception insisted that we return the beach towels, which caused an infuriating, petty delay. The facilities are excellent, and the activities are good too. Tubing is recommended. The food was very good, and the staff were lovely.

We did the zipline, horseback riding, tubing, and thermal pools. Everything's in one place, the location is great, and the staff were amazing. We'll be back next year.
