Hotel Villa Hermosa

The owner drove us to the airport before our flight the next morning and made us feel so special. In less than 15 hours, I felt like family. We’d arrived in panic mode after our flight was canceled, but my wife found a hotel with enough beds for all five of us on short notice. It immediately felt like home, and I’m glad my kids got to have that experience on our trip. I travel for work and stay in hotels four or five times a week, but I’ve never had a human connection with staff like I did at Hermosa. For me, it wasn’t the amenities, location, food, or anything you could find elsewhere. It was the genuine, effortless connection.

The soundproofing was more like tent camping, haha, with cars, roosters, and dogs audible. Still, I’d absolutely come back for the incredibly friendly, family-oriented people running the hotel. We stayed one memorable night at Hotel Villa Hermosa. The room had all the essentials: hot water, a private bathroom, air conditioning, a fan, a small fridge, and plenty of storage. Breakfast was included and delicious. Muchas gracias 🇨🇷

I really enjoyed my stay. The welcoming family helped me plan my trip, and the meals were delicious. I’d highly recommend this place if you need somewhere to stay in Liberia.

I needed a place for one night and, after reading the reviews, felt better about spending my money with a local family. I’m glad I chose it. It’s a pleasant, homey place run well by the family, and you can feel its welcoming vibe.
