Hotel Banana Azul - Adults Only

We had a lovely lanai, good fans and airflow, and excellent hot water, which you can't take for granted. We left the doors open all night to hear the surf and still felt comfortable. The room was nice, the staff friendly, helpful, and competent, and the food and drinks were great. It was easy to get to the beach for walks, and there were nice lounge chairs with bar service. I'm sure we'll book here again.

The balcony was our favorite part. We spent most of our time in the room out there during our seven-night stay at Azul Banana. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food was amazing. The hotel is just steps from the black sand beach, with tons of birds to watch and a resident sloth if you look up. We rented a car and had fun exploring. Hone Creek is within walking distance, and Cahuita is a very short drive away. We'd recommend this relaxing place to anyone. Thanks to everyone at Azul Banana!

Ketsi, Diana, and the other staff made it easy to get around and book activities, which took away most, if not all, of our worries about transportation and adventures on our first trip to Costa Rica. The food was amaizing, and Danny's drinks were even better! We had an unforgettable stay at Banana Azul, with direct beach access, greenery all around the property, and warm, inviting people. We'll definitely come back.

We spent seven days here, and it was better than we expected. The hotel is beautiful and uncrowded, with a real jungle beach resort feel. We had a lot of flight complications, but the staff quickly helped make the arrangements we needed. They were the kindest servers and staff, and we booked all our tours and transportation through the hotel. Couldn't recommend it more.
