The chicken soup was some of the best I've ever had. Since we were arriving late, around 9 pm, I asked the owner in advance to prepare a light dinner, and he was extremely nice about it. Breakfast was great too. We stayed here on the way to Monteverde because it was about halfway from SJO airport, and we had landed too late to drive all the way there. The lodge was a pleasant surprise, with a beautiful view and nature all around. Our room was spacious and clean. I highly recommend it.
