Our host Diego was great, very accommodating, and kept checking in with us. He’s a chef and came to cook breakfast one day. He also took us around for a fair fee, waited for us, and gave us recommendations. The house is beautiful and has what you need to live. The road could use some paving on its worst sections, since lighter cars might get stuck and that could be dangerous. A map would help too, as Costa Rica still isn’t well mapped on Waze or Google maps. Great base for seeing the La Fortuna surroundings.
