The setting at Oasis is lovely, with trees and all kinds of plants around. I saw loads of wildlife and birds, including Squirrel Monkeys and Capuchin monkeys that came by often, plus Macaws and many others. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, especially the couple of amazing treehouses high up in the trees. There’s a stone pool and a jacuzzi, both with waterfalls, and they’re great for relaxing. I ordered breakfast and was pleased every time. The staff are amazing, and I really appreciated everything they did, including doing my laundry for a small fee. I enjoyed meeting and talking with the other guests. I also loved that the pool and spa areas are clothing optional. Doing yoga nude each morning on the raised platform was a wonderful start to the day. Oasis is totally gay friendly, and I met some very friendly gay guests. Stephan is a wonderful guy, and you’ll definitely enjoy staying at Oasis.

The location worked really well, between Quepos, Manuel Antonio, and el parque nacional Manuel Antonio. My husband and I spent five nights at Oasis to visit the park, and the vegan breakfasts were delicious: fried plantain, seasoned beans and rice, pancakes made with almond milk and topped with strawberries, blueberries, and maple syrup, plus fresh fruit juices. Stephan, the host, was welcoming and friendly, and his adorable dog, Lady, was too. Our room was beautifully colored, nicely decorated, and very well equipped. The property has several levels, a river stone pool, and a large hot tub, both with waterfalls. There are two treehouse suites, as well as a gorgeous massage and chill out area partway up the hill. Oasis was a really cool place to stay, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Costa Rica.

The treehouse was our favorite place in Costa Rica, and we couldn’t have been happier staying there. Stephan and his staff were kind and accommodating. We loved the food, which was better than any restaurant we tried, so we definitely recommend ordering breakfast. We also booked a private dinner and were blown away by the flavor and all the effort that went into it. The property feels welcoming and private, and we saw lots of wild animals passing through. Shops and the beach are just a few minutes away, yet we felt safe there. We can’t wait to book another stay!

Of all the places I’ve stayed while traveling through 14 countries over the last two years, this is my favorite by far. The owner, Stephen, puts his heart and soul into everything, especially the food, and you can taste that care. The room and amenities were incredible, there was plenty of nature around, and the staff were SUPER friendly. If you want to feel like family, eat amazing food, and sleep in the rainforest, this is the place. They also have a dog named lady 🥰

The setting is lovely and feels like being in the jungle, while the hotel is close to everything but still private. It’s beautifully kept, with a nice pool and hot tub, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and have all the amenities you could want. Stephan runs a beautiful B&B / boutique hotel and is warm, accommodating, and communicative. He’s a trained chef, and the breakfasts for sale are excellent. The coffee and gringo pintos are so good. I’d recommend it to anyone!
