The breakfast was fantastic, and the rooms are surrounded by the sights and sounds of wildlife. We could walk to two different kinds of beaches, one on either side, and the views when we arrived were spectacular. We rented a golf cart and made several trips into town each day for food and fun. We’ve traveled all over Central America with our 3 teenagers, and this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. When circumstances at home forced us to change our dates, Brenda and the staff were very accommodating. They also helped arrange other places for us to stay in Nosara for our wedding vow renewal. I hope we get back someday.

The room was right on the beach, with its own deck and hammock. The bed was cozy, and they provided both room-temperature and cold fresh water, plus an electric kettle with coffee and tea. There are two lovely beaches right nearby, along with the fantastic La Luna restaurant. Breakfast was delicious, made to order, and served on a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and when we had a small room problem, they fixed it right away. We paid much more to stay somewhere else that wasn't even half as good. Nosara Beach Hotel was fabulous, and we’ll definitely be back.

The ocean views from the room were the best, and the architecture was amazing. It’s also incredibly well located on the peninsula, with easy access to both beaches and crazy views from every angle. The room was immaculate and cleaned quickly every day. Everyone we met, from the front desk to the restaurant, was attentive, lovely, and amazing. Highly recommend!

The staff were warm and genuinely kind. Thank you Nosara. The décor brought old Greece to mind, simple, elegant, and timeless, while still fitting the wild jungle around it. But what stayed with me most was the sound. The ocean and jungle are allowed to be themselves here, without loudspeakers or artificial ambience. You hear the rhythm of the waves, the leaves, and the birds. Two stunning beaches are only a few steps away, and their waves keep playing in your memory after you leave the sand. I’ve traveled all over the world, and it’s rare to find somewhere that treats nature’s soundtrack as a real luxury. The quiet here isn’t emptiness, it’s presence. This place felt like a sanctuary of sound.

The shuttle arranged by the hotel tried to shake us down on the way to the airport, and it seemed the hotel was in on it. No Bueno. We also had strong winds every night and it felt like the roof might come off. There were tons of insects in the room and wild dogs on the property, with no real security at all. When the power went out, nobody mentioned it. Service was lacking for the price, and the staff were far from outgoing or considerate, so you're on your own. PURA VIDA!?
