The pool was a lovely way to unwind, and the room had strong AC and a hot shower. We found this gem after our hotel canceled our first night in Costa Rica because of a water shortage. The staff were friendly and able to accommodate us English speakers.

We had a pleasant night before heading back home, and I’d recommend the hotel for a quick rest stop. The beds were nice, the room was comfortable, and the AC kept us cool. It was reassuring to park safely inside the property gates. Breakfast was okay, and my family and I enjoyed the stay.

The staff were really nice, and we enjoyed eating our meals at the property. We booked at the last minute while driving across the country and just needed somewhere to sleep for the night. The rooms were clean.

The owners were around to answer questions, and our car was safely parked in an enclosed area. We lingered in the spacious, beautifully designed courtyard, and the large pool was great for cooling off. The beds were very good, the shower was warm, and breakfast included fresh fruit. It’s comfortable and clean, quiet despite being centrally located. We’ll be back.

The kitchen had closed by the time we arrived, but our host opened the bar so we could have some beers and arranged a delicious pizza delivery. We’d arrived late in San Jose, looking for a nice first night on the way to Nicoya. Good places in this area can be hard to find, and this one was really nice, clean and cosy, with a good pool. Thumbs up.
