Vista Bahia Beach Resort

We enjoyed the quieter beach for walking, exploring, and spotting little sea creatures. It was rocky rather than sandy, but still a nice place to relax, and the hotel is kid-friendly. Kayaks are available on site, with an easy paddle around the bay. The pool was clean and spacious, with lots of shade for sitting. Our room was large and comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed. Breakfast was buffet-style with plenty of choices. The setting is off the beaten path, and winter is very hot and dry here. It's about a 20-minute drive to the nearby city, where there are more tourist-oriented places to eat and shop.

The staff really made the stay for me. They were so friendly, kind, and easy to talk to. Thanks to Sergio, Todo, Daniela, Dillan, Harley, and the rest of the team! The hotel is also close to lots of amazing beaches by car, with one within walking distance. The rooms were average and seemed very overpriced for what you get, but I still had a very positive experience.

The resort was spotless, and the food and drinks were phenomenal. What I’ll remember most, though, is how friendly and fun everyone was. Daniela, Andrea, Toro, Sergio, Gredy, and the rest of the staff truly felt like friends by the end of our family’s week there. Toro taught our two-year-old, “Pow Pow,” to fist bump, and she went around fist bumping everyone at the resort. Sergio and Melany also made sure baby Moana had all the pineapples, strawberries, and uvas her little heart wanted. We’ll sincerely miss the friends we made, and we’d recommend this resort ten times over!

We spent five days and four nights at the hotel. It was quiet and felt exclusive, a nice choice for a family holiday. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and breakfast was included with check-in. The beach is within walking distance, and there’s a nice bar for drinks. My kids and I took the mountain bikes out to see the scenery, which was a fun holiday adventure. There’s a good area for biking and exploring, but be extra careful around vehicle traffic. Booking was easy and hassle-free. If you're a foreigner, you can communicate in English or Spanish, and all the staff can speak both languages. Everyone was friendly and attentive to guests’ needs and requests.
