A lovely, clean room, and the owner, who's from Colorado, clearly enjoys gardening and sharing that passion. It was colder than I expected, so I used the fireplace in the room. A great place to stay on the way to Poas Volcano or La Paz Waterfall and Gardens.

The owner Amit seemed like a genuine person who really cares about his staff and the overall atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the service was great. It's a convenient midway stop on the way to Volcano Poas or La Paz Waterfall. Highly recommend.

The rooms are good value in a beautiful area, and dinner and the included breakfast both had delicious vegan options. There was a friendly cat, too 😻

The restaurant food was very good, and the big windows gave us plenty of hummingbirds to watch. Our room came with breakfast, though there was confusion about it on the second morning. The young woman helping us was very patient and got it sorted out, even though she spoke little English and we spoke little Spanish. The room was comfortable, with an extra blanket and electric heater that were much appreciated in the cooler high elevation. WiFi was weak and kept dropping, so we couldn't really use it. We stayed two nights in April 2025. The restaurant was pleasant, and the location is handy for both the waterfall and the volcano. The park was closed during our visit because the volcano was actively erupting. We still had a lovely day at the waterfall gardens. They were absolutely beautiful, but expect lots of steps and uneven walking surfaces.

A local recommended this spot during our coffee plantation tour, and from the moment we arrived Amit and his crew gave us real Pura Vida Vibes. The food was great, they went the extra mile to make sure we had a good time, and we made some new friends. It's a Jewel. We'll be back on our next trip, do yourself a favor and check it out 🤙
