We spent a week here and were already wishing we could stay longer. Nir was so accommodating, with great suggestions for surfing and restaurants, and really helped make the trip special. We loved the new-feeling kitchen and the grill on the deck, and the Wi-Fi worked amazingly well. The bed was ridiculously comfortable. Most of our relaxing time was by the beachfront pool, enjoying the surroundings of Santa Teresa. We'd happily come back.

There was loads for us to do nearby, and being close to great restaurants made meals easy. When we stayed in, the kids spent their days surfing and boogie boarding. We also went to two national parks for zip-lining, horseback riding, hikes, and tubing. The Villa Akoya Experience worked really well for our family reunion of eight, with room and storage for everyone, plenty of bathrooms, and a big pool. The beachfront setting was hard to beat. We’ll be back!

I had to work throughout my stay, and the connection was strong all through the house and even on the beach in front. I managed to take a Zoom call on my laptop while lying on the sand. Nir was incredibly helpful and had great insight into the local hotspots. As for the setting, you can get from the living room to the ocean in under 50 steps. Calling Villa Akoya beachfront hardly captures it, and it sits in one of the prettiest parts of the area. It’s the most beautiful house in Santa Teresa. My only complaint is that I can’t live there all the time!

What an unreal vacation, the best time ever! Nir was a fantastic host. Make sure to ask for the chocolate bread or babka :)
