10/10
We had a late flight on checkout day, and the hotel let us leave our suitcases in a locked room while we went around San Jose. They were very accommodating. The staff were friendly and helpful, everything was clean, and our top-floor room was just right, with a skylight in the shower. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Presidente.

10/10
The restaurant was good value and the food tasted good. Breakfast was worth having too, with local dishes alongside other choices, enough to fuel a day of excursions. I stayed here for a couple of days with my son at the end of our Costa Rica trip, and I'm glad I picked it. The room was great, with spacious, clean beds and bathroom. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful throughout. I'd happily return and recommend it.

The food is very good, and the rooftop restaurant looks stunning. Inside, the lobby feels inviting, with plush seating. The rooms are gorgeous too, with comfortable beds, a huge shower, lovely design, and an interior balcony with hanging pothos. Right in historic San Jose, it's easy to walk to nearly all the historic buildings, museums, and craft markets. Incredible hotel, absolutely worth the stay!

A great place right in the heart of San Jose. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the rooms were clean and spacious enough. The staff were kind and helpful. Luis M helped us during our stay and even arranged a taxi for when we left.

8/10
The room was clean, comfortable, and big enough, with good beds. Staff were wonderful, polite, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast had a tasty range of choices, including traditional Costa Rican food. On our first night after arriving, dinner at the rooftop restaurant was an easy option and tasted good too.
