The surroundings are lovely, and you can spot birds native to the region around the pool. Everything was in good condition and very clean, and the place had what we needed for our stay. It’s an easy walk to the beautiful beaches of Potrero and Penca. You can also drive to nearby spots like Las Catalinas, Flamingo, and Conchal.

The lush tropical gardens and big, lovely pool made this a comfortable, stylish, modern place to stay. It’s very safe and feels suited to families, with a gated villa setting where little kids can enjoy themselves. The beach is extremely close, less than a five-minute walk. We were completely satisfied, it felt like a tropical luxury home away from home.

We had an amazing family vacation at Casa del Sol Resort. It has a relaxed feel, with a mix of long-term residents and short-term visitors. La Penca Beach is an easy walk away, and there are good places to eat within walking distance too. We even got to see a family of howler monkeys living in the canopy near the resort. The staff were friendly, and we were really impressed with the resort.

There are restaurants and bars all over, including several less than a minute’s walk away. The foliage has filled in and matured a lot since the photos were taken, and it looks really nice. Great spot!
