Dennis and his wife made us feel welcome, and breakfast was great. The Wi-Fi was super stable, and the beach is walkable.

At this seven-room boutique hotel, Dennis was a gracious host and gave us great service. The included breakfast was delicious, and the whole place had a comfortable, relaxing, home-like feel. We had a wonderful time in Playa Carrillo and hope to come back. Highly recommend.

Dennis and his wife were so welcoming, and they gave us good suggestions for things to do around the area and places to eat. We turned up at 9:30 PM looking for a room, and luckily they had one available. We had a great stay, and when we're back in Costa Rica we'll definitely stay here for a few nights.

We really enjoyed our three nights here. Breakfast was included, the service was great, and Denis was a terrific host. There's a restaurant next door where I had the best pizza I've ever tasted. When I return to Costa Rica, Hotel Esperanza and Playa Carrillo will be a must-stop. I really recommend this place.

Carrillo Beach, the nicest and quietest beach nearby, is very close to the hotel. It's a short drive or bus ride to Samara for markets, shops, and restaurants. Dennis and Kerri, the owners, were warm and accommodating, and the price was reasonable. Call Dennis directly for the best price. We'll be back!
