La Posada del Mar

Toni and her family always make you feel appreciated and special. This was my fourth stay, and it was a pleasure again. The room was very clean, and the location is perfect for getting to the beach, restaurants, and shops.

Toni looked after us like family and seemed to know everyone and everything happening around town, so we didn't miss a thing. Rodrigo at the front desk even baked us bread one day. We booked three rooms for five nights, and everyone was impressed by the friendly staff. It's a small, personal place, more hostel-like than a big hotel, with reasonable room rates. The hotel was clean and right in the middle of Dominical, next to the Fuego micro brewery/restaurant. There's also a sloth and her baby living in the tree behind the group kitchen.

Diego made the stay especially lovely. He greeted us with a smile, explained what we needed to know, and offered ideas and information about things to do. The rooms were nice and clean, with hammocks outside for relaxing. I stayed three nights and had no insect problems at all, which was a relief. On my first trip to Dominical, La Posada's spot right on the main strip was ideal. Such a great experience, and I'll be back.

Toni and her crew were so accommodating, and the staff were polite and professional. They helped connect us with local guides, tours, and excursions, then put everything together in a printed itinerary. Toni works hard to make sure guests have what they need. We had an amazing stay and made memories that'll last a lifetime. I'd stay again, 100%.
