The bed was really rough for us. The mattress sagged and sank, and my partner and I would wake up in pain and have trouble sleeping. The walls are also very thin, with a door connecting our room to the next one, so we could hear our neighbors clearly. Ear plugs helped with the noise, but they couldn’t fix the mattress. I’ve traveled all over the world and stayed in plenty of hostels and other accommodation, and this was one of the worst beds I’ve had. I’m writing this because I would have wanted to know. The staff were lovely, kind, and helpful. The courtyard is pretty and shaded by lots of trees, the AC worked well, and the rooms were decent overall. When we asked to move to a room with a kitchen, they were very accommodating.

The staff were super helpful, but the place itself felt mediocre, especially for the price. The rooms were very dated, with cheap furniture and a generally neglected feel. It looked nothing like the photos or online description, and after one night I was left feeling quite down about the stay. At 6 AM, loud noise from what sounded like a nearby machine or motor woke me up, so I couldn’t rest properly. There wasn’t anything particularly appealing about the property.

I spent six nights here and loved it. The owner is kind, professional, very helpful, and hands-on. The rest of the staff were friendly and professional too. It’s a perfect little spot close to both the beach and town.

The bedroom was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. They were happy to offer advice when asked. I’d recommend this hotel without hesitation. Tip: choose the A/C.

We just got back to San Francisco, and even though our time in dominical was short, it left us with lasting memories. Amy was so accommodating and had great tips for snorkel spots, surfing, and restaurants. The setting was great, the value was the best, and the warmth and hospitality made a real difference. Highly recommend!
