We stayed in April and would happily return, ideally to the same room for longer. It was spotless, and the staff were so helpful. The woman who greeted us at the desk was superb and gave us all the information we needed. Free kayaks and bikes are available, and the room has lovely designs made by local artists. Each morning, birds gathered and flew from the tree outside our room. Hearing them was fantastic. We have birds in the UK, but nothing at this level. It was amazing.

The owner is awesome, and the place has a calming, beautiful decor with amazing attention to detail. It’s comfortable, has a great view, and sits about 50 feet from the water. There’s coffee in the room, a fridge, a patio, and great WiFi. Lots to do too, from fishing to bikes and kayaks. And a great price!

We loved our four nights here with a group of friends. Kayaking and swimming right off our deck was great, and there are free bicycles too. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the owner gracioso. We’ll be back!

Great birdwatching and solid recommendations, plus a helpful staff, clean rooms, and an amazing location. For its price point, it’s a great place to stay. The shower heat comes and goes a little, but it’s Puerto Jiménez, so you’ll probably want a cooler one anyway.
