This is only about the overnight parking they advertise for $10 a night. I needed to leave my car for four days, so I came by the day before to do the paperwork and pay. The woman told me I couldn't pay ahead of time in case something happened to me and they couldn't refund me. She said to return the next morning with the car. I was uneasy because they only seemed to have about seven spaces, and my shuttle was at 8 am from another area. We showed up at 6:30 am, but the woman at the desk said the lot was full and I couldn't leave the car. When I reminded her that the woman the day before had told me to come back in the morning, she just shrugged. I had only 30 minutes to find somewhere else to park for the next four days. I tried to handle it properly and pay in advance, and the lack of care was mind blowing. This doesn't feel like a professional place, and they should stop advertising overnight parking when they have about seven spaces that are also used by hostel and hotel guests. It makes no sense.

We rented a motor scooter from here, and they were really helpful. They brought it to our hotel and picked it up there too, which helped us out a lot. I think their bicycle rental is very cheap as well. We didn't stay here or use the other hostel facilities.

The campsite has lots of room for campers as well as rooms, plus a bar and gated access to the beach. We came on our first night camping in Costa Rica because it had been recommended to us. The stated quiet hours were 10 pm to 7 am, but people in a nearby chalet were playing loud music and talking loudly just before 10. It carried on into the early morning, then started up again from 4 am. There was no respect for the other campers. We contacted the campsite because we were disappointed, but sadly never heard back.

I wish I could give this place those stars, but staying here was a terrible decision. It didn't feel safe, and the woman at reception was wicked. She literally chased us as we were trying to get back to our car. If you care about your safety, don't stay here. I can't recommend it at all.
