Caribbean Comfort

The studio is just two minutes from the Black Sand Beach, where we watched the sunset every night. There’s a car rental agency, bank and supermarket across the street, and a gelato stand only 20 seconds from the door. We loved our three nights in the King Suite. It was comfortable, had great amenities, and Monika was an amazing host who quickly got us anything we needed, including beach towels. She also provided free drinking water since you can’t drink from the tap in PV. On our first night it rained briefly, and Monika came over with books in case we got bored. So sweet! The bathroom was updated with a nice sink, the bed was huge, and I loved the style and decor.

We spent a lot of time on our private patio, listening to the rain from the Adirondack chairs and hammock. Though ours was the smallest room, it was very comfortable for a couple, with a large bed, comfortable mattress and pillows, AC, and a big modern bathroom. The small kitchenette had a water cooler with filtered drinking water, a fridge, cooktop and coffee maker. The property was beautiful, very well kept and spotless. The owner checked in now and then to see if we needed anything and collect the garbage, while still giving us privacy. Monica and her husband were incredibly friendly, professional and accommodating throughout our first vacation in Costa Rica. The apartments are right in the middle of town, within walking distance of the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, a bank, vendors and shops. We had a wonderful stay at Caribbean Comfort, from check-in to check-out.

We had lovely, clean and comfortable rooms, and the host was super friendly and helpful. We also hired bikes for the day to explore. Just perfect 😊

The location puts you right in the middle of everything. The host was quick to respond, and the amenities were great: air conditioning, a kitchenette, and a covered patio.
