The room was disgusting, and the staff don't speak English. You have to ring the bell every time you want to get in. Terrible.

It's quiet and clean, with a lovely pool, and the service was excellent. The location is perfect, very close to the terminal and cruise ship pier.
At 25,000 colones a night, the price was reasonable, but I can't recommend staying here. The room was awful, the bathroom smelled bad, and there were mosquitoes. They said the room was equipped, but the fridge was unplugged when I tried to use it, so we couldn't use it. I don't know if a maintenance man was living there, but someone was making a racket and shouting at 7 in the morning.
The sewage smell woke me in the early morning, and the shower overflowed, splashing water into the room. There was no TV. Service was poor; the clerk seemed unqualified and only interested in taking payment, while the owner appeared to care little about guests. A disaster, especially when there are better, cheaper places, or at least options more worth the price.
The place itself is comfortable and beautiful, but the management was awful. We were told a room for two cost 25,000, then charged 30,000 when we booked. We had a 9 am reservation, but the rooms were dirty; they kept us waiting until 2 pm, and our room wasn't ready until 3. Two other people with reservations had the same problem. The young man managing things was on his phone all the time. They need someone willing to work who knows how to manage.
