The quiet setting is tucked among beautiful trees and plants, with each unit spaced nicely apart. Our room was spacious and clean, with hot water and good pressure. The bed was firm and comfortable. We’d definitely recommend it.

At Selva Color Ecolodge, the staff were amazing and attentive, and breakfast was delicious. I stayed in Casa Lapa over memorial weekend and found it comfortable and nicely decorated. Coming from noisy New York City, being in the forest felt like an adventure. I saw McCaws and all kinds of forest creatures. The cicadas and owls might scare you the first night, but you get used to the forest sounds if you appreciate nature.

My husband, toddler son, dog and I had a lovely time here. We watched macaws and toucans, swam in the pool surrounded by lush vegetation, and had a delicious breakfast. The owner, Patricia, was so sweet and helpful in making the most of our time, and all the staff were friendly. Our clean room had a little kitchen and a beautiful balcony, and we slept great. It's close to beaches, good food and other fun adventures, and it's beautiful, clean and affordable. A total retreat, and we'll be back for a much longer stay!

Waze sent us to another street in the neighborhood, so we had to look for the red gate entrance. Once we found Selva Color, we enjoyed our two-night stay. It was quiet and off the beaten path, the pool was well kept, and there was a BBQ available as well as one at the blue cabin. Breakfast was included and good, and everyone was friendly.

The staff were very kind, and the rooms were really good and comfortable. This is an incredible hotel if you want to experience the jungle. Breakfast could be better, though. On the first day the cereal and bread were delicious but there were no eggs. We had eggs the next day, but the bread wasn't the same.
