We spent three nights here, visiting from Canada, and we'd love to return. Priscilla was such a warm, welcoming and generous host, and even invited us to see the different monkeys near her house. The villa is well located, and you can hear the waves as you fall asleep. The pool felt magical, and the little restaurant nearby made the best margaritas!

Priscilla was friendly and attentive to everything we needed, and the bungalow was very clean with just enough space for the two of us. We stayed in a one-bedroom place with a small kitchenette, hot plate, full-size fridge and coffee maker. It's a nicely secluded getaway, with one beach a five-minute walk away and another about 10-15 minutes on foot. Dogs are welcome without a deposit, and the well-kept pool was a nice bonus. There's also a very good restaurant within walking distance, open for lunch and dinner, with reasonable prices. The small town about 1.5 miles away has a few sodas for breakfast and two panaderías that open at 5 am.

We had such a good stay in Playa Agujas. The owner is lovely, and we chose to add breakfast, which was amazing. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Priscilla made a great breakfast, and the pool was awesome. The pristine beach is just steps away, with a restaurant, bar and grotto a short walk down the beach. It's a clean, quiet escape from Costa Rica's touristy spots.
