The cabins were clean and affordable, and breakfast was good. It’s quietly situated away from the busy city center, with a pool and a waterfall nearby. The staff were really friendly, kind, and relaxed. One of the nicest places I stayed in Costa Rica.

It’s a small place, but very welcoming and exceptionally well managed. The woman at reception was a wonderful host and took great care of us. Breakfast was a treat, and they were happy to adapt it for us as vegans. We also liked the refreshing little pool and the beautifully kept grounds. We loved our stay and would gladly return, or recommend it to family and friends.

The breakfast was wonderful, and the local family who own the place were so nice and helpful. There are hiking trails and a bird feeding and watching station where you can see birds at breakfast. The grounds and pool were nicely kept. It’s an affordable place close to downtown La Fortuna, and only five minutes from La Fortuna waterfall.

The staff were kind and very helpful, and we even spotted wildlife right outside our room. The rooms at Catarata Eco-Lodge are simple, but clean, with really comfortable beds. It was easy to walk or drive into town, and breakfast was great, especially the fresh fruit each morning. I’d definitely stay again.
