Alojamientos N&S

We used the laundry service and were really impressed. It was $4/kilo with same-day service, and Reina does it herself. I've never seen clothes folded so expertly and neatly. The room is very clean and well located near town. We stayed a week, and light cleaning, including emptying the trash and replacing towels, was done every other day. I highly recommend Alojamiento N&S.

A supermarket just a 3 minute walk away was handy, and the area felt very safe, with friendly locals and free parking. The owner was welcoming and can arrange discounted local tours. We stayed at N&S for two nights and really enjoyed it. The property was clean and tidy, with fresh linens and towels and free WiFi. Our room had a small kitchenette and hotplate, perfect for cooking dinner. We chose a room with A/C for a little extra, and it was worth it to stay cool.

Rayner and her family were awesome and always ready to help. The house is in a quiet, nice neighborhood, about 5 minutes from the center. Inside, the studio had everything we needed: a fully equipped kitchen, room to spread out, a secretary for working, and an outdoor area with hammocks, chairs and tables. They really thought about guests' needs. The bed was so comfy, the nicest I'd slept in for a long time. I loved staying here. I also want to say something about the country. People told me CR was too expensive and getting dangerous, but I found it to be the cleanest, most organized country in Central America. The teenagers I met were highly educated and focused on protecting the planet, and everyone spoke English. It is more expensive, but it's a first world country. You can still travel on a low budget by cooking and taking buses. So don't skip Costa Rica, come and enjoy the Pura Vida country.

Reyna was very understanding and helpful about my fear of insects. The room was spotless and had everything I needed, and I had a great stay at Alojamientos N&S. It's close enough to the center for a pleasant short walk downtown, while still letting you enjoy some peace and quiet. I'd definitely recommend it.
