3BR Casa Palmeras near Quepos large private pool

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Palmeras in February 2023. The hosts were helpful while we planned our trip and answered all our questions quickly. The house is incredible, with great outdoor space, and it’s a good base for activities around Quepos/Manuel Antonio.

Julio made the stay easy from the start, with great communication, a comfortable house that matched the listing, and helpful advice on wildlife and places to visit. He even sorted us a table at a lovely restaurant for our last night, where we watched the sunset over the ocean as macaws flew by. I still can’t quite believe that part, and I was there! We’d already enjoyed Shana by the Beach in MA before coming here, and Casa Palmeras was just as much fun. This was our first trip outside the US with our kids (10, 7), so we’d been nervous about choosing a house over a hotel. One of our mornings began with a private chef meal Julio arranged. It was worth it, though there was a huge amount of food. We also took a hands-on cooking class through the same service and loved it. We mentioned we wanted a nice dinner to celebrate a work promotion, and Julio’s recommendation and help with a reservation made it a great evening. Highly recommend staying here, and taking his advice about food, tours, and the chef.

Right in the jungle but still near everything, this is a lovely place to unwind in Quepes. The house is roomy, the bedrooms are comfortable, and the pool is excellent.

We made good use of the fully equipped kitchen and enjoyed having cable TV and internet, so it still felt like home. The villa is in Green Community Palmas Pacifica, on a wooded 5,000 m² lot, in a quiet spot at the end of a cul-de-sac. Each of its three bedrooms has a private bathroom and air conditioning, which works well for a family or two couples. The big sunny terrace and large pool became our favorite place to spend time, and we used the barbecue too. We watched capuchin monkeys in the trees nearby and scarlet macaws flying overhead. There are also activities within the community, including tennis and hikes such as a night walk, a butterfly garden, and a medicinal plant garden. We had a wonderful week at Casa Palmeras.
