Charlie (Carlos) was a respectful, accommodating host, and his very good English was a big help for me. The house is tucked away in a nice neighborhood, with the National Park practically in the backyard. We saw monkeys, birds, and blue butterflies, and I much preferred the privacy of a house to staying in a hotel. It was clean and the plumbing worked well, always a plus in CR. They also provide information about tours, transport, car rental, buses, taxis, and restaurants. There's a Mini Mart nearby, with a quaint little restaurant right next to it, and express delivery is available for $1.50.

We drove there last year and found the accommodation tidy and clean. It's close to parks, and you can book it without hesitation. Just watch for the ants outside, they bite a lot 😅 Thanks again, and I hope we make it back to Costarica.

Nice spot, and there's a cute dog around. Don't be scared of her. We let her come inside when it started raining 😅

Carlos was really kind and showed us the mosquito screens fitted to all the windows, so you can leave them open and sleep while listening to the jungle without letting animals in. We heard birds and howler monkeys, with the park right in the garden. Towels, gel, and coffee were there for us to use, and there's a restaurant about a 10-minute walk away. We were genuinely surprised by how good the stay was.

Carlos and his dog Mia made us feel very welcome during our night in this charming house near Manuel Antonio Park. He even found us a park tour for the following evening and really went out of his way to help us enjoy our time. It was a pleasure meeting them, and I highly recommend the place! 😇
