Medelyn, the owner, is absolutely amazing. She helped us with everything and gave us recommendations. The hostel is in a great spot near a supermarket, and the rooms are clean, cleaned daily, and come with fresh towels. There’s no AC, which was rough during the hot days when we arrived. Medelyn understood and cancelled our last night for us. If the heat doesn't bother you, I recommend this place.

The hostel was great, with comfy beds, clean rooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. The owner is really nice and helpful. Laundry is ₡2,000 per kilo, and it was quick since she does it right there. It was my first time using drop-off laundry and everything was fine, apart from my usual nerves about something getting messed up. I miss coin laundromats 😭 The top bunk ladder is sharp on your feet, but after people checked out, she moved me to a bottom bunk for my second night. Also, expect a steep walk up and down from the main road a few times. I saw two red guacamayos flying back and forth through the trees near the hostel. Book your Manuel Antonio Park ticket at least a week ahead. When they say in advance, they really mean it. Lots of us thought we could book one or two days before and couldn't. There isn't much to do around here besides the park.

It's a friendly, clean hostel run by a family. The owner was happy to share recommendations, and laundry was available at an affordable price. I appreciated the bug net keeping mosquitoes out. In the morning, I saw birds and monkeys outside.

The staff were lovely, and my dorm was clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. It's a great place to unwind if you're visiting Manuel Antonio National park, with a nearby bus that runs regularly and is cheap. I really enjoyed my stay.
