We felt very safe here, and getting around was easy. The hotel provided some transportation, and public transit came by often, so we could explore the area. There are lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, and the beach is close enough too. Our stay at hotel Costa Verde was lovely, with amazing accommodations and beautiful sunset views.

When we lost a room key that might have been stolen, the staff acted right away and changed the locks on all our doors. That made us feel safe and looked after. Everyone was patient, kind, and helpful, and the hospitality was some of the best I've experienced. The grounds were beautiful, with lots to do, and we enjoyed the views and food as well. One of my favorite stays, especially with kids, though I'm sure it would be fun without them too.

We spent a month in CR and Hotel Costa Verde was our favorite place. Our ocean-view room in the CV 2 adults only area was huge and had a full kitchen. Every team we met, from check-in and room staff to the restaurant staff, was wonderful. The beds are quite firm, for anyone planning a stay. The resort covers a lot of ground with plenty of elevation changes, so getting around is a healthy walk. The beach is a 15-minute walk downhill, and you can take a bus back up for $1 if you like.

The views from our room were wonderful, and we got beautiful sunsets. We also spotted iguanas, monkeys, and a toucan from the pool. The staff were fantastic and easy to reach by message. It was an easy walk down to the beach, too.

The views and wildlife were great, and breakfast was pretty solid. Service was good overall, but AC problems meant our friends couldn't sleep, and the front desk wouldn't offer compensation. Shower pressure was weak on the higher floors. Drinks at the pool bar cost about as much as in Vegas, so stop at the market first.
