We loved the apartment as a family. It has two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a balcony with an amazing view. The pool and the outlook over the forest and ocean were superb, and our daughter used the private pool every day. Beach gear is available to take along, too. The hillside location feels surrounded by nature, while still being not far from downtown. The owner was a very nice lady who shared tips on beaches and restaurants, along with interesting stories about life in Costa Rica. We also saw birds, lizards, and Iguanas around the house. I’d recommend this place to anyone staying in Quepos, and we’ll definitely stay at Puesta del Sol next time we’re here.

We were greeted so warmly, and had the pool to ourselves. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the terrace has a magnificent view.

Mrs. Jan made us feel at home right away and gave us a list of recommendations that were spot-on and invaluable in a place we didn’t know. The shared spaces are lovely, with a pool that fits the setting, lots of different chairs, and a very functional grill. They also lend snorkeling gear and have board games, internet, and ample parking. We watched a fantastic sunset from the pool area. Our room was more like a guest suite, with lots of space, a king-size bed, a comfortable sofa, a small TV with Roku access, and air conditioning that suited the area. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, plus complimentary coffee, sugar, and salt. The large bathroom has a bathtub and hot water, and there were plenty of good towels, including extras for the beach or pool. The location lets you stay close to everything while enjoying peace, incredible views, and a real connection with nature. This is exactly the kind of place we hope to find when we travel.
