Villas Nicolás - Adults Only

The pool was a good size, with lots of sunbeds to relax on, and our room had a comfy bed, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a nice patio. Wildlife and brilliant views are right on your doorstep. Dennis, our host, was a star, and his lovely dogs and cat made the stay even more enjoyable. Local bars and restaurants are close by. Oceano seafood and Emilio’s Cafe were both superb, especially at sunset, with stunning views. 😎

We loved having a private patio with a hammock and a beautiful view during our honeymoon stay. A monkey visited in the trees beside our patio, and scarlet macaws nest on the property. Highly recommend!

The on-site manager was so friendly and helpful. We saw visiting monkeys in the morning and had a resident sloth in view throughout our stay. It’s a quiet, very nice place, and the grounds and pool area are immaculate. The Pacific views from the ocean-view rooms are stunning. Highly recommend.

The main downside was the walk down several flights of concrete stairs to our room, which wouldn’t be ideal for anyone with neurological or lower-extremity orthopedic issues. Otherwise, this was a nice find and good value. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the grounds were well kept, with a nice pool and places to sit. We stayed in an ocean-view suite, partly surrounded by jungle, with a terrace, hammock, table, and chairs. Monkeys visited from our patio every day, which was very cool. The room was clean and a good size, with a handy small kitchen and refrigerator. Breakfast was included, simple but delicious. A great place to stay in the Manuel Antonio area.
