The location was handy, with the beach close by and several supermarkets nearby, including two big ones. One Chinese supermarket wasn't even on Google Maps. We also loved the little decorated outdoor spot for relaxing. Inside, the apartment was roomy and had a well-equipped kitchen with a large fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The glasses kept in the freezer were a fun touch and made drinks so refreshing. The beds were really comfortable, there was plenty of hanging and shelf space for clothes, and both the air conditioning and fan kept us from getting too hot. The owner of Nelly Apartamentos was warm, helpful, and full of useful information, especially about our trip back to San Jose. She also works at a small pizza restaurant in a cute little area with several places to eat. The pizza there was great too, so you might want to stop by.

The hosts were so friendly, and they also run a delicious pizza place in town. Casa Nelly is a cute tico style apartment with what you need for a comfortable stay in Samara. The beach is nearby, and across the way there's a sweet little outdoor court where you can get a smoothie, snack, or cocktail. One thing to keep in mind is that it's next to a hostel, so it can get a bit noisy at night depending on who's staying there, though that wasn't constant. If you're after a convenient place in Samara, Casa Nelly is perfecto!!!

Having our own private outdoor seating areas to unwind was a real plus, and the apartment itself was roomy, gated, well equipped, and comfortable. Casa Nelly was a highlight of our Costa Rica trip. It sits on a quiet street, with the beach and several restaurants just a 5-10 minute walk away. Samara was one of our favourite towns and beaches on the trip, too.

Antonella was so kind, attentive, and helpful. The apartments are lovely and have all the comforts you need, with the beach only a few meters away. Casa Nelly is highly recommended!
