Casa Valeria is right on the beach, with clean, comfortable rooms at attractive prices. Greg, the General Manager, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend staying here, except when I’m hoping to find a room in Samara for my wife and me.

It’s one of the most affordable places in Samara and you’re right by the beach, with loungers, hammocks, chairs and tables facing the water. The rooms have decent space and storage for a longer stay, and there’s a shared kitchen with two fridges. The Thai food at the restaurant was tasty and felt authentic. Staff were friendly, and you can have a beach fire at sunset if you find some wood. Our bathroom stayed damp because it wasn’t ventilated well, and there was a strange smell at one point. I’d still come back to Samara and stay here again.

The host Greg was so nice and flexible, and I liked having a simple breakfast included with the option to order something bigger. Best part was stepping outside my door to a lovely view of palm trees and the beach. Loved staying here!

The dorms had poor ventilation, and sewage backed up into the shower in our room. The place was FILTHY. It’s in a great spot right on the beach, but in just two months it had deteriorated so much since my last visit. It didn’t have the same VIBE as before.

I’ve been coming here for about 15 years, and it’s a great spot right by the beach with fair prices and great staff. My only real suggestion is replacing the AC units, since the room never got properly cool.
