Rooms have a TV and A/C, and there are places nearby open at night if you arrive late and want something to eat or drink. The hotel is very close to downtown and the attractions. It's good value, with simple but clean accommodations that are sufficient for a few days. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Like elsewhere in the area, early traffic and trains may wake you up.

The area around "Calle de Estudiantes" is touristy, but I still didn't find it entirely trustworthy. Staff were fairly friendly and available around the clock. Ring the bell a few times and someone will come. My first room was so covered in mold that it seemed like it could be a health hazard. I asked for a different room and got one right away, but that one was moldy too (see photos).
