Lands in Love Hotel

We started here on our way to La Fortuna and Monteverde, and the setting alone was lovely: jungle greenery, fresh air, little lakes, a river and waterfall, plus lots of wildlife. The animal rescue shelter feels special, with so much care put into it. We saw horses, goats, ducks, dogs and cats. Our room was 24. It was roomy and basic, as the price suggests, but clean and had what we needed: a decent bed, warm shower, coffee machine, fan, fridge and curtains. It was quiet apart from the jungle sounds, and the Wi-Fi worked really well. A budget hotel with a more premium feel from its surroundings. The food was freshly made and tasty, with a good mix of local and Mediterranean dishes. Even if you’re not vegan, it’s worth trying. The “meat” Lafa was my favorite. We also had a great time with the activities: canopy zipline, Tarzan swing, Superman, ATV and canyoning. Everything was well organized, including the shuttle. The groups were smaller than in La Fortuna, and the instructors were attentive and friendly. Tarzan was my favorite. In the evenings we met other young travelers and played board games after dinner. Some negative reviews may point to things that could improve, but they seemed to lack context and be greatly exaggerated.
