Amatierra Retreat and Wellness Center

We were blown away by the beauty and special feel of AmaTierra during our 6 day women’s yoga and wellness retreat. The people made the stay: Jill, Bob, and the staff took such care of us and made us feel at home. Chef Pablo put real thought into the meals, and the food left us feeling nourished. We loved our excursions with the excellent guides and drivers, and the massages were some of the best we’ve ever had. We’re grateful we got to hold our retreat here. Thank you to Bob, Jill, and everyone at AmaTierra for such a memorable experience.

We had such a lovely 5 days here and would absolutely come back. The whole place is beautiful, with amazing rooms and some of the best staff. The food was unreal, too. Alan, Pablo & Popo treated our group like family. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Amatierra and highly recommend staying with Bob and Jill. 🤍

The mountain views were so peaceful and breathtaking, and the yoga studio was just amazing. Bob & Jill welcomed us like family from the start. I loved the locally farmed organic food, including their own pasture raised eggs. Jill taught us about different herbs and had us sample supplements each day that were very helpful. There are hiking trails at the facility and a nature walk. The massage was the best I’ve ever had, and during free time I could relax on a gemstone heated mattress or use a massaging bed that hit a lot of my trigger points. They offered excursions including zip lining and rainforest wildlife spotting, where we saw monkeys, macaws, toucans, geckos and iguanas.

Such a peaceful, beautiful place, and the service and food were absolutely terrific. The natural surroundings and nearby rainforest creatures, especially the geckos and monkeys, were lovely. I had a blast, and it was very healing. Thank you for the time of my life!
