We spent a lot of time on the balcony, listening to the birds and howler monkeys. The rooms are huge and really nice, and everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly. Such a gorgeous hotel. We'd gladly come back and would absolutely recommend it.

Our king room with the ocean view was lovely, with a chalet-style feel, a very clean interior, and comfortable beds. The wicker ceiling lights added a nice touch, and the sunsets from the room were stunning. When we saw Arlet later that day, she checked that we'd settled in and told us to ask if we needed anything. She'd greeted us warmly on arrival and was fun to chat with. Someone also took us and our luggage up to the room by golf cart.

We spotted an armadillo, plenty of birds, an agouti, and a monkey on the property, and the sunsets from our Mountain View room were wonderful. Breakfast was good each morning. We also liked the tomato soup and salad at dinner, though the pizza didn't quite hit the mark. The property is beautiful and the hospitality was lovely from the minute we arrived. We had a great time and would stay again.

The sunset views are fantastic, and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast was the letdown: the food was the same each day and got boring, and some of the plates were wet or chipped at the edges. Costa Rica is known for coffee, but the breakfast coffee here was awful. When we brought it up, we were told there weren't any other options.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the friendly staff, the happy hour, and the excellent breakfast and dinner menu. The rooms are spacious, with very large bathrooms.
