Our family loved the bungalow and the breakfast delivered to our porch each morning. Manala felt like a peaceful little oasis, quiet and calming despite being steps from town and the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we’d absolutely stay again.

Manala’s quieter north side meant less traffic during the day and peaceful nights. We also liked the easy beach access and the excellent restaurants a short walk away. Direct bookings include a simple but delicious breakfast. Our family of four spent two nights in the spacious bungalows, then five in the family unit, Casa Tere. The bungalows sit among well-kept jungle landscaping, with scenic paths connecting them. The pool was lovely and private, and the AC kept the rooms cool at night. Manala and its warm staff, Alfredo, Bayron and support, were the highlight of our time in Santa Teresa. This charming boutique hotel really captures the spirit of Pura Vida.
