We had a blast during our four nights here in April. There were two families and five kids, ages 7-13. Rafting in was a lot of fun, and the kids loved all the activities. Our guides, OG and Julian, were great with them. The food was exceptional too.

The lodge feels like paradise, with the Pacuare River sounding all around its peaceful, secluded grounds. We had plenty of time to relax, explore, and swim in several waterfalls. Our guides even took us to one for a swim during the rafting trip in, which our 8-year-old loved. We hiked out on our last morning, and we're already thinking about a return to the river view cabin once our child is old enough to raft out through the white water. We managed everything on our list: rafting, zip lining, tubing, and night hikes to spot wildlife. The food was excellent, and the staff made us feel welcome and at home. Nela, Sarita, Jorge, and Olger made the stay especially memorable for our 8-year-old. It's adventurous and absolutely worth it. We'd recommend it 1,000%. Pura Vida!

The fresh food was delicious and clearly made with care, and the owners' dedication to sustaining the Costa Rica jungle and Pacuare River is admirable. Rios Lodge is family owned, and you can feel that passion throughout the stay. Being among the Indigenous people was a privilege, and I deeply appreciate the culture. This was my second year in a row rafting into the lodge. The guides are safe, fun, and amazing, and they stay on site to lead memorable jungle adventures. I've never had so much fun. The whole experience brings me so much joy. I miss the people who make it so unique and nourishing, and I'll be back next year without a doubt. Thank you, Rios Lodge. You're a gem!

1000/1000! The views and location are some of the best in the world, and everyone there was fabulous. Jorge was a fantastic guide, and we learned something new from him every day of our four-day stay. The fresh food was fabulous too. We rafted both in and out, and went tubing and zip lining several times. We loved every minute and can't say enough good things about it.

The zip lines crossed over the river, with amazing views, and the activities on day two were spaced out so there was never any rush. It was fun and relaxing at the same time. Our three-day, two-night package included rafting in and out, and the trip out on day three was spectacular. I'd gone white-water rafting years ago and felt a little nervous starting out on day one. Our guide, Julio, was so capable that I relaxed completely within ten minutes. The raft-in took about an hour, leaving us time to change, walk the lodge's concrete paths, and try some of the included activities. The room was lovely, every meal was delicious, and the staff and guides were friendly and professional. Next time, we'll stay three nights!
