2 Blu Moons Boutique Hotel & Retreat

I travelled with my five-year-old son, and staying at 2 blu moons felt magical. The pool was lovely and clean, even though it gets plenty of use, and the place was peaceful while still being kid-friendly. We could walk to lots of dining options, and the beach was just a few minutes away. The Tico breakfast was spot on, the towels were so soft, and the bed was really comfortable. I’ll be back, and I recommend it highly.

Lola, Jocelyn, and Elmer were so welcoming and helpful, and the freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. We also liked spending time in the common areas, including watching a movie together on the big screen one evening. The hotel lends boogie boards, which we took out to enjoy the waves at Avellanas. Playa Avellanas is only a three-minute walk away, with cafés and restaurants nearby. The hotel feels new, cozy, and thoughtfully set up, and everything was clean and comfortable. The large parking lot made coming and going easy. It was a great base for the beach, and we’d happily stay here again.

The staff really made us feel welcome, and breakfast in the morning was delicious, with fresh local flavors. The rooms are spacious, with modern touches mixed with warm local finishes. There’s a nice pool outside for relaxing.

The beach is just steps away, and we loved how easy the location made everything. The staff were always helpful and accommodating, and breakfast was a great start to each day. The place looked just like its photos, if anything even better in person. We loved our stay and will definitely come back. Highly recommend it!
