Hotel Arco Iris

The suite was well cared for, and we loved having a hammock. It had a relaxed, distinctive feel, and we’d happily stay again. The pool was clean, with enough places to sit and unwind; beach towels were always available, and the ice and water dispenser helped us stay hydrated. At night there was security and the gate was locked, though we liked having both a front and back entrance as options. Staff were excellent: Juan Carlos at reception and Jeffrey at breakfast were wonderful, and the kitchen made food early when we had to leave for excursions. Housekeeping kept us supplied with clean towels. We also slept peacefully without music or other noise. Grocery shopping, a gym, laundry, restaurants, and Tamarindo town center are all within walking distance. Thanks to hotel Arco Iris for a great stay!

We’d already paid for seven nights at a different nearby rental when it became clear we’d made a bad choice. Arco Iris had a last-minute opening, so we booked three nights there as a rescue, and it turned out to be the best decision of our trip. It was our second visit, and the stay reminded us why we loved Arco Iris before. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and thoughtfully laid out; the pool, lounge spaces, and lush gardens were all immaculate. The staff were among the kindest, friendliest, and most accommodating people we’ve met anywhere. Juan Carlo deserves a special thanks for his hospitality and for making our stay memorable. He may be the best hospitality worker we’ve ever experienced. We’ll choose Arco Iris first when we come back.

I really liked the architecture and decor here. The hotel feels rustic and boho, looks pretty, and was very clean. Our room and bed were comfortable, and the pool area was peaceful. Having hammocks outside the room was a nice extra. Breakfast was delicious, and the Tamarindo location is convenient, with a path leading out to the main road. Lots of shops and restaurants are close by, yet the hotel stays quiet and away from the loud noise, which made it easy to relax day or night. Thank you!

Even though Tamarindo is a busy area, the hotel felt a long way from the bustle once we were back there. The beach, shops, and restaurants were an easy walk away. Our rooms were comfortable and very clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious, some of the best food we had all week. We loved our time at Arco Iris.
