Andy and Rowan were so thoughtful and attentive, always just a text away and quick to reply. They made us feel at home right when we arrived with all the personal touches. My friend and I are two young girls, and we felt safe the whole time. The quiet location was far enough from the party area, yet it took less than 4 minutes to walk to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants. Casa Smilín Dog was very clean and well maintained, from the room to the gardens and facilities, and it had everything we needed plus more. We stayed four days and only wished it had been longer. Next time I visit Tamarindo, I already know where to stay. Just don't book it up before I get back ;))!!!

The value was especially good, and the room and garden facilities at Casa Smilin Dog were beautiful. The main beach was just a 3-5 minute walk away. Andy and Ro were helpful and great hosts during our 3-night stay.
