Compass House

We stayed at the Compass House recently and held our wedding there. It was a magical time for both the stay and the wedding. The ocean views and sunsets were stunning, and the house itself was beautiful. Natalia and Mario were extremely professional, kind, polite, and helpful, going above and beyond to keep all our guests happy and comfortable. I'd HIGHLY recommend this property for a fun, relaxing, stress free vacation.

We were guests of the renter, and we'd have loved to stay longer. The women who looked after us in the mornings and cleaned were more than superb, and the grounds keepers were so kind. The guard was on duty the whole time, keeping watch over us, usually without being noticed. The home was always clean and smelled fresh. We'd definitely love to come back.

The infinity pool and hot tub were gorgeous, with a perfect view of the nightly sunsets. We had 12 adults and one infant, and there was plenty of room, including enough space for our whole group to eat outdoors or indoors. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and TV, though we barely watched TV with all the time spent relaxing by the pool and enjoying nearby beaches and activities. We visited playa Avellanas and playa flamingo, both beautiful and within a 30-45 minute drive. The only small drawback was the partly unpaved road up to the house, which made for a bumpy ride. We used both a rental car and a golf cart. I'd stay again and recommend it. Honestly, I could've happily stayed in the house all day, it was so relaxing!

Staff were there to cook breakfast every day and keep the house clean. Erin, the property manager, was super helpful with arranging golf carts, an in-house massage, a food truck for lunch one day, airport shuttles, and more. Perched on a hill in Tamarindo, the home has an infinity pool where you can sip morning coffee and enjoy beautiful ocean views. All the bedrooms are spacious, with plenty of room for a big group. This place was absolutely incredible, and I'd definitely stay again.
