The big windows gave us lovely morning views, and we appreciated feeling secure inside the gated area. The neighborhood around it was quiet already, and the location was nicely tucked away from the busy part of town while still close to everything. We had a wonderful time at Lavventura. The grounds and pool were beautiful, and our room had what we needed, including a fridge and cooktop for making dinner, plus a spacious shower with toiletries. The robe and eye mask were thoughtful extras for relaxing inside. The hosts were generous with tips for food, excursions, rental cars, and more, and always quick to respond. We would definitely return when we're in Tamarindo again. Highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel.

The quiet, intimate feel was a real highlight. L’Avventura has that tucked-away hidden gem atmosphere, with a more personal stay than a big resort. It's peaceful but still just minutes from the beach, restaurants, and local shops, so getting out for surfing, sunset walks, or Tamarindo's food scene is easy. The hotel is stylish and modern, with lots of attention to detail. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, a relaxing place to come back to after exploring. L’Avventura is everything I hoped for in a Costa Rican boutique hotel, and then some. I'd absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Tamarindo who wants beautiful rooms and an authentic Costa Rican experience.

The room had a little kitchen, and the Wi-Fi was pretty quick, around 500mbps from my room. It's a 5-7 minute walk to a grocery store and about 10-15 minutes to the beach. I couldn't get the oven working, but later decided I didn't need it. It's a small hotel with six rooms. We booked at very short notice, and the owner, who was offsite, sent a Whatsapp message before we arrived. Rigo, the manager, was at the hotel at times during the day and helped with our issues. The keypad lock in room #5 was confusing at first, but when we messaged him at night, he answered on Whatsapp and talked us through locking the door. I'd stay again.

Michelle is a true gem, so responsive and helpful. The peaceful atmosphere and the scenery each morning made this a perfect getaway, and the place felt like a home away from home. I can't wait to come back! I stayed the first weekend of December, and it was the best stay I've ever had. Everything exceeded my expectations from arrival: the space was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything I needed to feel comfortable and relaxed.
