I've stayed at cocodorilo four times now, and it's easily my favorite place to stay. Sandy, the owner, really goes above and beyond. The rooms are clean, and the beach is just a quick walk away. It feels like home away from home.

The woman and her son running the place were excellent, and the staff were great, including the really nice cleaning crew. It was quiet, the air conditioning worked very well, and the views at night were amazing. You're right on the beach in a secluded spot at the end of the main strip, yet it's only a four-minute walk to shops and food. There's a great restaurant downstairs too. My only problem was that the front door key didn't work properly, but I got help with a new one right away. Thanks for the hospitality 🇵🇱🇺🇸😊

For the price in Tamarindo, this place is a great find, and I'd stay again. It's right on the beach, with a private path down to the sand. The simple rooms have AC, a small refrigerator, and hot water. Nothing elaborate, but the people working there are awesome and super helpful.

The restaurant was amazing, and the grounds are beautiful. Being a little outside the main tourist area was so nice: it was quiet, and the beach felt basically private. The room wasn't fancy, but it was clean and comfortable, and the employees were helpful. I doubt we'll return to Tamarindo if we visit Costa Rica again, but if we do, we'd gladly stay here. Great place.
