Les Voiles Blanches Tamarindo

We had the charming A-frame cabin for four nights at the end of our Costa Rican trip, and it was such a nice way to finish. The pool was relaxing, and breakfast changed each day while staying delicious. Joe also shared great places to eat and beaches to visit around Tamarindo. Joe and Isabel were lovely hosts, and their dogs Stella and Gigi made the place feel even more personal. A colleague had recommended Les Voiles Blanches, and it went beyond what we expected. We'd love to come back for another peaceful getaway.

Breakfast became one of our favorite parts of the trip. There were five rotating options each morning, always with banana bread and fresh fruit, and everything tasted wonderful and thoughtfully prepared. We looked forward to it every day. Our two-bedroom villa with a private pool was spotless and well maintained. Starting the morning with coffee by the pool in the sunshine was a treat, and the staff were always friendly and the cleaning excellent. The place felt small and secluded, yet many beautiful Pacific Coast beaches were only about 30 to 60 minutes away. After exploring, it was lovely to return to such a quiet, private-feeling retreat. That calm made our whole seven-day vacation more restful. Joe and Isabelle were warm hosts, quick to answer questions on WhatsApp and attentive throughout our stay. Their golden retrievers, Gigi and Stella, were the sweetest company and made it feel like home. My husband and I have stayed in many places, and this is one of the best. They have made something special here. We'd recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful, beautiful, personal stay near Tamarindo, and we can't wait to return.

We only spent three nights at this property after splitting our time between it and another place, and almost immediately wished we'd stayed here for the whole trip. It's easily one of the best places we've stayed, and we're already thinking about returning for longer. Joe and his wife were attentive and welcoming, and the fresh breakfast made to order each morning was a highlight. The menu changed daily, and their two sweet dogs added a homey feel. The location was peaceful and private while still just minutes from restaurants, beaches and nearby sights. Our private bungalow was spacious, comfortable and beautifully designed. Having our own pool felt like a real luxury, and the main pool had that same upscale resort atmosphere. Every detail felt thoughtfully done.

The food was the best I had in Costa Rica, and the service was wonderful. It's so quiet here while still being close to busy Tamarindo. Such a beautiful place. I'll definitely be back.
