The setting felt like a tropical paradise. From the backyard we spotted monkeys, iguanas, crabs, and even parakeets; along the shore we found starfish, shells, and sand dollars. The beach felt private and exclusive, and the ocean views from the beautiful house were stunning. We also loved relaxing by the pool. Casa De Luz is near town, restaurants, and tours, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and secluded. We couldn't have asked for a better experience; it really gives you the best of both worlds.

Service and food were superb, and the location was fabulous. The gorgeous house made every day feel like paradise, especially with those beautiful sunsets. We loved the whole vacation and are looking forward to coming back next year. I'd highly recommend Casa De Lux to anyone wanting a taste of paradise.

As a wedding photographer, I've loved capturing couples' special moments at Casa de Luz, and it never disappoints. The beachfront setting in a peaceful part of Tamarindo is ideal, with magical sunsets and so many beautiful backdrops around the house. For weddings, it's a dream venue that brings together luxury, tranquility, and breathtaking views.

Mornings by the water felt like coffee on a private beach, with nature all around and birds chirping love songs. The home is beautiful, tropical, and cozy, right on the beach. Private hammocks make it easy to relax and listen to the ocean's changing moods. We saw monkeys and tropical birds, and met locals who were kind and hospitable. Shopping, dining, local shops and markets, and activities for all ages are close by. The home was clean and well maintained, and felt extremely secure and safe. Staff were friendly and attentive. The pool was clean and the temperature was perfect, with staff cleaning it daily. We loved the chefs' cooking, and staff came each morning to make breakfast. I'd highly recommend it for a large family, friends, or a wedding. We'll definitely go back!

The view through the back door is the reason to stay here. We could wake to howler monkeys and ocean waves, and see them almost every night. You can find house photos online, and couldn't do better for a large family with kids. It fit us comfortably. The private pool was a refreshing bonus, with butterflies, iguanas, and geckos walking around. The house was very well air conditioned, and 90% of everything worked great. The other 10% was a bit annoying: the toilets kept backing up, the dryer broke, and the pool floats had leaks. Through it all, RAFA became a family legend. He arranged great excursions and transportation and was extremely helpful.
