I lived there for six months and loved the community. People support each other, and the owners are the kindest people. It’s such a quiet, beautiful place, built with the best intentions around living organically. They grow their own plants, fruit, and vegetables, and there’s high biodiversity, with monkeys passing by. It’s the complete opposite of Tamarindo center. Fully recommend it, as long as you’re not afraid of little animals ;)

It’s a quiet, low-budget place around 3 km from the center and the sea. The tent was so small I barely fit inside, though. It needs improvement.

Volunteering at Pacha Mama for a month was wonderful, and I loved being part of the community. Nando and Michelle are kind and open to suggestions. I recommend doing business with them.
