Pacific Kalokairi Adults Only

The staff were so sweet, kind, and helpful with planning our trip, and they gave us tips on things to do. This was a wonderful stay for my husband and me, and I’d highly recommend it. The place felt incredibly private and had a different, retreat-like feel. I honestly don’t think it could’ve been better. The pool was incredible, and most days we nearly had it to ourselves. We’d hoped to see monkeys but didn’t plan many outings because we wanted a relaxing trip. On our last morning, a family of monkeys swung through the trees while we ate breakfast. Such a cool experience. And you can’t forget Charlie, the resort dog. That sweet old guy greeted us every morning and made the place even more special. We’ll definitely come back.

We both loved staying here and would be happy to come back. The restaurant had plenty of good choices, from seafood to land dishes, and the pool, spa, and massages were all 10/10. Our ocean-view bungalow was comfortable, and Carlos was so welcoming and made excellent drinks. Virginia was lovely too, and Charity, her dog, is a great hotel mascot.

Some days we spent on the beach in Tamarindo, and others by the gorgeous infinity pool. We also took a day trip to Rincon (volcanic activity, hike in the rain forest) de la Vieja National Park and tried surfing in Tamarindo. Pacific Kalokairi was a lovely find, with peaceful forest surroundings and easy beach access. Our unusual room looked out toward the Pacific. Virginia, Carlos, and the rest of the staff were wonderful, helping with whatever we needed and suggesting things that suited our interests. The food was amazing, whether we had dinner in town or a romantic meal by the pool, and the service was lovely. Thank you for such a nice stay!

Virginia, Maria, Carlos, and the other staff took such good care of us, often anticipating what we needed. Their suggestions about where to go and when were helpful, including pointing us toward restaurants and shops in town. We were looked after from arrival through departure, and can't wait to return. The room was comfortable with a great ocean view. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and dinner came with tasty choices and fun cocktails. The infinity pool was refreshing anytime, especially after a day of activities.
